About this comparison

The reference is a resurfaced knee reconstructed to the accepted native references, not an intact ACL-and-meniscus knee. Its component angles remain fixed at the registered 6° femoral valgus, native-relative 0° rotation and 6° tibial slope.

Distal femoral and tibial resection offsets combine to set the illustrative extension limit; posterior femoral and tibial offsets combine to set the flexion limit, using the teaching relationships from Part 13. Shared playback uses the overlap of the two ranges so both models show the same angle. Separate range readouts retain any extension loss, hyperextension or extra flexion outside that overlap.

Slope changes the tray, bearing and tibial preparation using Part 9 geometry. Contact is recalculated against the changed bearing, with the approved authored motion trajectory retained. This comparison does not calculate an additional slope-dependent range limit. All resections are offsets from the reference; positive means more bone resection, with bearing thickness unchanged.

Clearances are sampled vertical implant-to-bearing separations. Ligament responses compare attachment distances with the reference reconstruction at the same flexion angle; shape and color changes are illustrative. No ligament forces, clinical laxity or patient-specific range of motion are calculated. Native surface references remain visible.
